About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Handle payroll processing, including computation of statutory deductions such as TDS, PF, PT, and ESI. 2. Accurately calculate and process monthly/quarterly returns, generate challans, and ensure timely filing and payments through government portals. 3. Reconcile statutory payments and coordinate with auditors for compliance and financial reporting. 4. Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software like Tally or Zoho Books. 5. Prepare and file statutory compliance reports with a high degree of accountability. 6. Use MS Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas) for reconciliations, reports, and data analysis. 7. Ensure meticulous record-keeping and attention to detail in all compliance documentation. Requirements: 1. Knowledge of TDS, PF, PT, and ESI compliance and filings. 2. Payroll processing and statutory deductions. 3. Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software. 4. Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, basic formulas). 5. Ability to manage monthly returns and government portal filings. 6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 7. Accountability in maintaining compliance and financial accuracy. 8. Strong working knowledge of ESI, PF, PT, and TDS - including accurate calculation, timely filing, and payment compliance. 9. Ability to handle payroll inputs, deductions, and reconciliation of statutory payments. 10. Experience with monthly/quarterly returns, challan generation, and coordination with auditors. 11. High level of accountability and ownership in maintaining accurate financial records and meeting compliance deadlines. 12. Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software, along with MS Excel. 13. Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
