Accountant Executive

As an Account Executive at our organization located in Chennai, you will be responsible for managing bookkeeping and end-to-end accounting tasks. With a minimum of 4 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounts, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your duties will include preparing, reviewing, and processing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. You will also be involved in financial reporting by preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements in adherence to accounting standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing regular bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly, and assisting in tax compliance by preparing and filing returns for VAT, sales tax, and income tax. Your role will also involve analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost-saving or revenue generation. Furthermore, you will assist in budget preparation and monitoring, as well as contribute to month-end and year-end financial closures to ensure data accuracy. Your skills in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and GST will be essential for success in this role within the Import/Export industry.
