Accountant-Ecommerce

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive - Ecommerce to manage and reconcile financial data from various e-commerce and quick commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, Blinkit, Bigbasket etc. The Accounts Executive will work on Tally software and performing & maintaining accurate accounting and financial transaction information on Ecommerce and quick commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation of e-commerce transactions including sales, returns, commissions, fees, shipping charges, and payment settlements, claims etc.
• Compare and reconcile reports from platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, Blinkit, Bigbasket etc. with accounting records.
• Maintain books of accounts in Tally software.
• Coordinate with e-commerce internal team to resolve payment or reconciliation discrepancies.
• Work closely with Ecommerce and logistics and operations teams to verify delivery and return reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Min 2 years of experience in e-commerce reconciliation and accounting.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience working with e-commerce portals (Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• MIS reporting
• Good knowledge of various ecommerce portals.
