Account Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Manage complete day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
2. Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally Prime.
3. Handle GST returns, TDS, income tax and other statutory compliances.
4. Manage accounts payable, receivable, vendor payments and customer collections.
5. Perform bank reconciliation and customer/vendor ledger reconciliation.
6. Handle purchase and sales invoices, debit notes, credit notes and billing.
7. Monitor cash flow, company expenses and outstanding payments.
8. Maintain raw material, finished goods and inventory accounting.
9. Monitor stock records and coordinate stock reconciliation with the production and stores departments.
10. Verify purchase bills, expense vouchers and payment documents.
11. Prepare monthly financial statements, Profit & Loss reports and balance sheets.
12. Prepare regular MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
13. Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, banks and government authorities.
14. Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns and other statutory documents.
15. Maintain proper financial records and documentation for audits.
16. Monitor accounting accuracy and resolve financial discrepancies.
17. Establish proper accounting procedures and internal financial controls.
18. Independently manage the complete accounts department and report directly to the Director.
