Job Description

  • Financial Record Keeping:

    Accurately recording and classifying all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, in the general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting:

    Preparing and publishing timely financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management and stakeholders.
  • Reconciliation and Auditing:

    Conducting regular reconciliations of bank statements and accounts payable/receivable to resolve discrepancies. This includes preparing for and cooperating with internal and external audits.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

    Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and analyzing variances between actual and budgeted figures to guide financial planning and cost control.
  • Tax Compliance and Planning:

    Computing and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws (e.g., GST/VAT, income tax) to avoid penalties.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:

    Managing the timely processing of incoming customer payments and outgoing vendor payments to maintain healthy cash flow
