Account Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our Chartered Accountant firm in handling accounting, taxation, and compliance-related work. The candidate will assist in maintaining client accounts, preparing financial records, and supporting audit and tax assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts for multiple clients
• Record and verify accounting entries in Tally / accounting software
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
• Handle GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and basic compliance work
• Assist in Income Tax return preparation and documentation
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, and expense statements
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
• Maintain client files and ensure proper documentation
• Coordinate with clients for data, clarifications, and submissions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com preferred)
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards and taxation
• Familiarity with Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting tools
• Understanding of GST, Income Tax, and audit basics
• 0–3 years of experience in a CA firm or accounting role
• Freshers with internship/training in CA firms may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• CA Inter / pursuing CA course
• Experience in GST returns, audits, and compliance work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,658.10 - ₹25,000.00 per month
