--- Job Requirement: QA/QC & Fabrication Progress Engineer Company: Able Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Location: Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh Industry: Herbal Extraction Plant & Process Equipment Manufacturing --- Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA/QC & Fabrication Progress Engineer who will be responsible for monitoring fabrication quality, ensuring compliance with specifications and drawings, and maintaining work progress schedules. This role bridges between design, production, and client requirements to ensure error-free and timely project execution. --- Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC): Inspect fabrication works (shells, jackets, nozzles, welding, etc.) as per approved drawings and standards (ASME/IS codes). Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents: Welding Visual Inspection Reports, Hydrotest Records, Alignment & Balancing Records, FAT reports, etc. Ensure material traceability, thickness checks, and MTC documentation. Coordinate with third-party inspectors (if required). Build and Update Autocad Drawings 2. Work Progress & Coordination: Monitor daily fabrication activities and ensure progress as per job schedule. Identify bottlenecks and report delays with solutions. Update management on status of each equipment under fabrication. Coordinate between draftsman/design team and shop floor. 3. Technical & Process Support: Review as-built drawings and ensure fabrication compliance. Verify nozzle/flange/pipe schedules during assembly. Support in troubl Qualifications & Skills Education: B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 2–5 years in fabrication / pressure vessel / process equipment industry. Knowledge Required: QA/QC procedures (WPS, PQR, NDT basics, hydrotest). ASME / IS fabrication standards. Reading and interpreting AutoCAD drawings. Familiar with material specifications (SS/MS, Sch 40/80 pipes, flanges). Skills: Strong documentation skills, problem solving, coordination between teams, client communication.
