Project Coordinator - Construction & Engineering “Works from Home” Custom Home Building Company | Melbourne, Australia About the Role We're a boutique custom home building company based in Melbourne, Australia, specializing in premium residential construction projects. We're seeking a talented Project Coordinator with an engineering background to manage both technical and client-facing aspects of our projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, this primarily “work from Home”-based role involves supporting the successful delivery of residential construction projects from post-contract through to completion. You'll manage procurement, documentation, financial tracking, and workflow communication ensuring projects remain aligned with schedule, budget, and operational standards. As an integral link between the office and onsite teams, you will contribute to seamless project coordination while helping maintain the quality and professionalism Position Details • Position: Project Coordinator (Construction/Engineering) • Location: Remote (India-based) • Work Hours: Flexible, with some overlap with Melbourne time zone (occasional evening availability) • Experience: 2-10 years (Fresh graduates encouraged to apply) • Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per month (based on experience and skills) • Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Liaise with all stakeholders including construction and admin teams, clients, and trades for various project related information. Strong email “writing skills” essential for this daily work. • Maintain documentation, must know how to work on outlook and one drive, must be able to put documents on right place, keep track on emails, must respond and records status of various key documentation and information. • Send technical emails to various subcontractor for seeking quotes and clarification, send booking dates, send reminders • Must be able to maintain internal reminder and status of activities and information necessary for multiple projects. • Read and interpret floor plans and drawings and should be able check any required information asked from those documents. • Must be excellent in English speaking and writing, most of time communication will be happening in writing, should be able draft professional tone emails.
