Embedded Engineer Intern (Drone R&D) Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra Employment Type: Internship (6 Months) Stipend: ₹15,000 per month Experience Level: Final-year students or recent graduates About the Role Aasma Aerospace is looking for an enthusiastic Embedded Engineer Intern to support our Drone Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will assist in building and optimizing firmware, integrating sensors, and working on real-time drone control systems. This role is suited for candidates passionate about drones, embedded systems, and hardware-software integration. Key Responsibilities Develop and test firmware for ESP32, STM32, or similar microcontrollers Integrate sensors such as IMU, GPS, and barometers into embedded systems Implement and optimize real-time control algorithms Debug hardware, troubleshoot I/O, and refine system performance Assist in circuit testing, data collection, and prototype development Required Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of embedded C/C++ and microcontroller programming Familiarity with ESP32, Arduino, STM32, or similar platforms Understanding of communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, PWM) Basic knowledge of electronics, sensor integration, and debugging tools Good to Have Experience with FreeRTOS, PID tuning, or MAVLink Projects related to drones, robotics, or IoT Understanding of PCB design and hardware testing methods Benefits & Growth Opportunities Hands-on experience in drone flight controller development Exposure to UAV, swarm, and flight optimization projects Opportunity for full-time employment based on performance
