Role Summary We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Fundraising Consultant to help us scale our impact by strengthening our resource mobilization strategy. The consultant will play a key role in bringing in funds through identifying funding opportunities, building donor relationships, and crafting compelling proposals to support our rural programs. Key Responsibilities Fundraising Strategy: Design and implement a fundraising roadmap aligned with the organization's mission and growth plans. Donor Engagement: Identify and cultivate relationships with CSR partners, philanthropic foundations, HNIs, and international donors. Proposal Writing: Develop high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports tailored to specific funders. Campaign Development: Plan and execute digital and offline fundraising campaigns, including crowdfunding and donor events. Partnership Building: Forge strategic alliances with corporates, NGOs, and government bodies to unlock funding and co-funding opportunities. Capacity Building: Train internal staff on fundraising tools, donor communication, and impact reporting. Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain a donor database, track fundraising metrics, and report progress to leadership. Desired Qualifications 58 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations, preferably in the development sector. Strong understanding of India's CSR ecosystem and international funding trends. Excellent communication skills in English; speaking fluency in Tamil. Proven track record of securing grants or CSR partnerships. Ability to work independently and collaborate with rural teams. Familiarity with fundraising platforms, CRM tools, and donor databases. Preferred Attributes Experience working with rural or community-based organizations. Existing network of donors, CSR leads, or philanthropic contacts. Passion for social justice, equity, and rural development.
