You are a skilled and experienced Heavy Earth Movers Engineer responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy construction and mining equipment. Your primary focus will be on earthmoving machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks. Your key responsibilities will include performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy equipment. You will also be responsible for conducting regular preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime, maintaining detailed service records and logs, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. To excel in this role, you should have a diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, along with 3-8 years of hands-on experience with heavy earthmoving equipment from brands like Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, etc. Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, hydraulic circuits, and equipment manuals is essential, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. As an Electrical Engineer at our Steel Recycling Plant, your role involves managing and maintaining electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring compliance with all statutory electrical safety regulations and maintaining liaison with the Chief Electrical Inspectors office. - Supervising installation, maintenance, and repair of plant electrical systems, including control panels, motors, transformers, and switchgear. - Troubleshooting electrical faults, breakdowns, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs. - Managing continuous power supply and efficiently distributing plant electrical load. - Maintaining documentation for inspections, test reports, maintenance logs, and statutory compliance. - Leading and mentoring a team of electricians and technical support staff. - Coordinating with OEMs and external contractors for repair, servicing, or upgradation work. - Conducting periodic safety audits and risk assessments for all electrical installations. - Managing electrical inventory and initiating procurement for required spares or equipment. - Assisting in energy management, reduction in electrical consumption, and improving overall system reliability.
