About Aarohi Aarohi is a non-profit organization working in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand for over three decades. Through integrated programmes in healthcare, education, livelihoods, and natural resource management, Aarohi fosters self-reliance, resilience, and improved quality of life for mountain communities. Role Overview The Executive Officer (EO) will lead the Administration & Accounts Department at Aarohi and serve as a key enabler for smooth organisational operations. The EO will work closely with sector heads (Health, Education, Livelihoods, NRM, and Research & Development wing) to ensure effective coordination, compliance, and support to programmatic goals. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management : Oversee and strengthen the administration, finance, and accounts systems. Compliance & Governance : Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (FCRA, CSR, Income Tax, GST, PF, etc.). Financial Stewardship : Monitor budgets, expenditures, and reporting in alignment with donor and organisational requirements. Organisational Support : Act as a bridge between administration, accounts and program teams, enabling sector heads to focus on outcomes. Operational Systems : Drive improvements in processes, digital systems, and office management to enhance efficiency. Strategic Partnership : Provide operational insights and support to the Executive Director in decision-making. Qualifications & Experience Postgraduate degree in Management, Commerce, Development Studies, or related fields. Minimum 4 years of experience in leading administration, finance, or operations in the development/non-profit sector. Strong knowledge of financial compliance, donor reporting, and statutory regulations. Demonstrated leadership, team management, and communication skills.
