As a Media Production Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the recording, editing, and promotion of a seminar series. Your background in media production coupled with experience in video editing, live streaming, or content creation will be leveraged to ensure the seamless documentation and dissemination of seminar content. Working closely with our team, you will be instrumental in maintaining a high standard of quality throughout the production process. Your responsibilities will include recording and editing seminar sessions for both online and offline distribution. You will assist in the setup and management of video, audio, and lighting equipment for live or pre-recorded sessions. Post-production tasks such as video editing, sound enhancement, and graphic additions will also fall within your purview. Additionally, you will provide support for live streaming and undertake technical troubleshooting during events. Creating promotional clips, highlights, and teaser videos for social media platforms will be part of your regular tasks. Furthermore, organizing and archiving seminar recordings to ensure easy access and future use will be essential. To excel in this role, you should possess a degree or diploma in media studies, film production, communications, or a related field. Prior experience in media production, video editing, or live event coverage is preferred. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is required. Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment is essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple tasks effectively are crucial attributes for this position. While not mandatory, experience with live streaming tools like OBS, vMix, or similar, motion graphics or animation skills using Adobe After Effects, graphic design abilities for creating promotional materials, and familiarity with social media content trends and engagement strategies are considered bonus skills. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in media production for live and recorded events. Exposure to industry-standard tools and techniques will enhance your skill set.
