We aim to make Puducherry the first hunger-free, zero-waste city and to extend this model wherever hunger exists. Role Description This is a Part-time volunteer role at AAGAARAM Foundation, located in Puducherry, India. Volunteers will be tasked with coordinating food collection and distribution efforts within local communities, engaging with donors and recipients, and participating in awareness campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing events, conducting outreach activities, and ensuring proper food safety and handling practices. Volunteers will also work closely with other team members to monitor and report on the impact of our initiatives. Qualifications Strong organizational and coordination skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of food safety and handling practices Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with diverse community members Passion for humanitarian work and tackling hunger Experience in event planning and community outreach is a plus
