JOB DESCRIPTION – Agency ChannelPosition: Agency Development Manager (ADM) / Business Development Manager Department: Agency Channel – Insurance Location: AHMEDABAD Reports To: Branch Manager / Sales Manager Role ObjectiveTo recruit, train, and develop a team of insurance advisors/agents and drive them to achieve sales targets through effective relationship management and field activities. Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & ActivationIdentify and recruit potential insurance advisors/agents. Conduct interviews, onboarding, and licensing support. Ensure active participation of advisors in business generation. 2. Training & DevelopmentProvide product training and field support. Conduct joint field calls with advisors to help them generate business. Guide them on sales techniques, prospecting, and closing. 3. Business DevelopmentAchieve monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets. Generate business through advisors and ensure consistent performance. Monitor advisor activity, productivity, and performance. 4. Relationship ManagementBuild strong relationships with advisors to maintain engagement. Motivate the team through regular meetings, incentives, and recognition. Resolve any advisor issues and support them in closing deals. 5. Compliance & ReportingEnsure proper documentation and adherence to company policies. Maintain accurate records of advisor performance and business reports. Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines.
