Unlike a social media strategist, this role is centred on data-driven creative thinking for paid campaigns. Youll work closely with the performance marketing team to translate campaign insights into compelling ad ideas, messaging frameworks, and creative strategies that directly drive results on platforms like Google, Meta, YouTube, and Programmatic. Responsibilities Conceptualise ad strategies, hooks, messaging angles, and campaign ideas tailored for performance channels (Google, Meta, YouTube, Programmatic). Collaborate with media buyers, designers, and copywriters to deliver ad variations and test creative hypotheses. Analyse campaign performance (CTR, CPL, ROAS, CVR, etc.) and recommend creative directions for optimisation. Research competitors and industry trends to identify high-performing ad patterns. Maintain a strong pipeline of creative tests to continuously improve ad effectiveness. Balance brand consistency with performance-focused storytelling. Requirements 1+ year of experience in ideally performance marketing based creative strategy (not purely social media). But if you believe Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, DSPs). Ability to interpret campaign performance data and convert insights into creative directions. Basic knowledge of ad copywriting, storyboarding, and visual storytelling for paid ads. Good communication and presentation skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment . Bonus Points Experience running or contributing to A/B testing of creatives. Familiarity with consumer psychology and behavioural triggers in ads. Exposure to e-commerce, real estate, or D2C brands . Certifications in Google / Meta ads.
