Role Overview: As a Dialysis Duty Medical Doctor at the Dialysis Centre, you will be the resident supervisor and manager of all medical matters. Your primary responsibility will be to attend to complications arising during dialysis procedures and work under the guidance of the Nephrologist. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct daily rounds of the dialysis unit, examine Medical Reports, and ensure adherence to the Nephrologist's instructions. - Supervise Technicians to ensure sterile precautions and patient safety protocols are followed. - Attend to complications developed by patients during dialysis and assist in medical procedures. - Analyze pre- and post-dialysis vitals, weight, and other tests for medical attention. - Order necessary tests for dialysis patients, monitor lab reports, and close dialysis procedures as per protocol. - Receive new patients in the Nephrology OPD, conduct initial diagnosis, and assist in surgical procedures. - Educate and counsel patients on dialysis procedures, refer to specialists as needed, and monitor patient progress. - Update patient history and diagnosis data, maintain records, and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Act as on-call doctor for medical matters, advise on facility, train junior DMOs, and provide performance feedback. Qualifications Required: - Medical degree with relevant experience in nephrology or dialysis care. - Strong supervisory and communication skills to manage medical procedures and patient care effectively. - Ability to follow protocols, handle emergencies, and work collaboratively with a healthcare team. - Knowledge of NABH standards and quality measures to maintain high standards of care.,
