About the Role The Senior Executive (FirstPower) is a frontline business growth role responsible for expanding solar adoption and revenue across the Northeast. Based in Guwahati, you will drive sales, partnerships, and project execution —connecting with institutions, communities, and local entrepreneurs to accelerate the clean energy movement. This role demands a strong sales mindset, regional travel, and the ability to convert opportunities into impactful installations and long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities Generate and close sales for solar and renewable energy projects across schools, households, and institutions. Identify and convert new business leads through active prospecting with government bodies, NGOs, and private organizations. Develop and manage a strong partner ecosystem of local associates, technicians, and distributors to drive scale and profitability. Design and execute regional sales plans to exceed quarterly and annual revenue and adoption targets. Conduct field visits to demonstrate solutions, negotiate proposals, and close deals with key decision-makers. Prepare winning presentations and proposals that position FirstPower as a trusted energy partner. Track sales metrics, pipeline status, and performance reports , linking them directly to business growth outcomes. Support capacity-building and training programs that strengthen local implementation and service delivery. Ensure compliance and quality assurance in all project installations and client engagements. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, technical, and operations teams to enhance customer experience and retention. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (technical background a plus). 3–5 years’ experience in sales or business development , preferably in renewable energy or allied sectors. Proven track record in lead generation, deal conversion, and target achievement . Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Entrepreneurial and results-driven with the ability to work independently. Willing to travel extensively across Northeast India.
