Job Description: FREIGHT | PRICING ANALYST Position Summary DUTIES: The Position includes but is not limited to managing pricing. Includes operational tasks related to vendor invoice audit if needed. Your Responsibilities Quote sea, air & domestic freight (FCL / LCL / FTL / LTL). Manage pricing updates for existing customers (rates extension and/or revision, monthly market GRIs (General Rates/Increases), quarterly bunker updates (BAF/BUC), etc.) Assist in matters pertaining to carrier contract rates, input of rates into our internal rate system and ongoing maintenance of rates Decrease time between request for quotation (RFQ) entered and quote finished Your Skills and Experiences Previous experience in a similar role in the logistics industry is required. Experience in the Sea Logistics industry is required: 2-3 years. Analytical skills related to supply chain, logistics, and transportation. Possess solid PC operational knowledge along with MS Office applications experience. Strong verbal/written communication skills. Organization skills/project management (prioritize, plan, assign and control) and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Detail oriented. o Demonstrated communication, prioritization, and time management skills. Highly motivated individual with the ability to work and think independently, while still being part of a team. Min. 2 years' exp. in rate quoting, pricing, with a forwarder High School diploma, (College preferred) Computer Proficient; MS Excel (Preferred - know VLookups, Pivot tables) Knowledge of Microsoft Access encouraged.
