As a Software Application Tester Intern at our Pune office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing system specifications and business requirements, developing effective test strategies and plans, and executing test cases to analyze results. You should have a Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electronic Engineering. It is essential to have a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms, along with knowledge of automation testing related to server-side functionalities. Your test sense should be exceptional, with the ability to think in detail about complex scenarios and possess analytical and creative problem-solving skills. In this role, you will be expected to evaluate product code according to specifications, create logs to document testing phases and defects, and report bugs and errors to development teams. You will also be responsible for helping troubleshoot issues, conducting post-release and post-implementation testing, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Proficiency in Java, REST API, Python, Django APIs background, relational databases, internet security, and network configuration is necessary. You will be required to write and execute test scripts, run manual and automated tests in various environments, including web and mobile, write bug reports, and assess code.
