About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Work on 3D modeling: Develop detailed 3D models of characters, objects, environments, and other elements based on provided concept art, sketches, or reference materials 2. Work on texturing and shading: apply appropriate textures and shaders to enhance the appearance and realism of the 3D models 3. Work on rigging and animation: Create and implement rigs for characters and objects to enable smooth and realistic animations 4. Set up and animate virtual cameras to frame shots effectively, capturing the best angles and perspectives to convey the story 5. Design and implement lighting setups that complement the scene and evoke the desired atmosphere 6. Collaborate with artists, animators, designers, and other team members to understand project goals and integrate your 3D assets seamlessly into the overall production pipeline Required Skills: 1. Proficiency in 3D modeling and animation software to create high-quality and realistic 3D models 2. Understanding of texturing, shading, and rendering techniques to create visually appealing 3D models; experience in rigging and character animation 3. Knowledge of lighting principles and experience in designing and implementing various lighting setups for different scenes and moods 4. Education: While a degree or diploma in art, animation, design, or a related field is preferred, we are also open to hiring self-taught artists; we believe that more than formal degrees, the real magic lies in your passion and talent for 3D animation 5.
