As a 3D Character Modeler & Rigger at Apple Arts Studios, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team. This position is tailored for fresh graduates or individuals without prior industry experience who possess a passion for character modeling and rigging. You will be responsible for creating top-notch 3D character models and rigs that are compatible with Unreal Engine and MetaHuman workflows. Your expertise in MetaHuman facial blendshapes and rigging will be crucial in ensuring clean deformation and optimal performance for real-time pipelines. Collaborating closely with motion capture and animation teams, you will integrate rigs for performance capture while maintaining both artistic and technical standards. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of 3D character modeling and rigging pipelines, along with proficiency in Maya, Blender, or similar 3D tools. Experience with MetaHuman Creator, custom facial blendshape setup, and familiarity with Unreal Engine workflows will be advantageous. Your ability to troubleshoot rigging issues and optimize assets for real-time environments, coupled with a solid grasp of human anatomy and facial expressions, will set you up for success.
