3D Character Modeler & Rigger

As a skilled 3D Character Modeler & Rigger, you will play a vital role at Apple Arts Studios, India's premier motion capture and animation studio. Your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality 3D character models and rigs that are compatible with Unreal Engine and MetaHuman workflows. You will be tasked with building and implementing facial rigs using MetaHuman facial blendshapes to ensure clean deformation and collaborating closely with the motion capture and animation teams to integrate rigs for performance capture. Your expertise in Maya, Blender, or similar 3D tools, along with your experience with MetaHuman Creator and custom facial blendshape setup, will be essential in optimizing characters for real-time use while maintaining performance and visual quality. You will work alongside technical and creative teams to ensure that characters meet both artistic and technical standards. In addition to your strong knowledge of 3D character modeling and rigging pipelines, your familiarity with Unreal Engine workflows and animation systems will be crucial. You should be able to troubleshoot rigging issues and optimize assets for real-time environments, demonstrating a strong understanding of human anatomy and facial expressions.
