Description
As a Creature Animation Artist at Promice VFX, you will be part of a dynamic and creative team dedicated to bringing imaginary creatures to life through compelling animations for various visual effects projects in film and television. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the animation supervisor, directors, and fellow artists to ensure that your creature animations align with the project's artistic vision and technical requirements. You will play a key role in creating high-quality creature animations by developing and maintaining efficient workflows that encompass rigging, keyframing, and performance capture integration. Additionally, you will work alongside the creature design and rigging teams to optimize animation performance and functionality. To excel in this role, you will need to have a solid foundation in animation principles, a profound understanding of creature anatomy and movement, and strong proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Blender (Preferable), Autodesk Maya, or Houdini. Your keen eye for detail, timing, and composition, combined with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, will be essential in delivering exceptional creature animations. Furthermore, you will be expected to stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to creature animation. Your diverse portfolio showcasing high-quality creature animations will demonstrate your expertise in creature anatomy, performance, and storytelling. If you are a passionate Creature Animation Artist with a Bachelor's degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Fine Arts, or a related field, along with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Creature Animation, we invite you to join our team on a 3-month internship basis. Your willingness to work day shifts, fixed shifts, and be available on weekends at our in-person work location will contribute to the success of our projects.
