The Service Floor Supervisor role involves supervising and coordinating activities on the service floor to ensure the efficient servicing of vehicles in compliance with Honda's quality standards. Responsibilities include overseeing technicians, managing workflow, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth service operations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise daily operations on the service floor, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely vehicle servicing. - Assign work orders to mechanics and technicians based on skills and workload, monitoring compliance with Honda's service standards. - Inspect completed repairs to meet quality requirements, identify recurring issues, and recommend solutions. - Supervise and train technicians, provide on-the-job training, and conduct performance evaluations. - Collaborate with Service Advisors to meet customer expectations, address concerns, and ensure timely vehicle servicing. - Maintain cleanliness and safety on the service floor, enforce safety regulations, and manage inventory of spare parts. - Communicate with Workshop Incharge regarding ongoing service tasks, parts requirements, and challenges faced. Key Skills & Competencies: - Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of 2-wheeler repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, particularly for Honda models. - Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and motivate a team, solve problems, and focus on customer satisfaction. - Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers. - Time Management: Efficient task prioritization, workload management, and timely service delivery. Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Diploma/Graduate in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. - Experience: Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role in the 2-wheeler automotive service sector. - Technical Skills: Familiarity with Honda service standards and processes preferred. - Computer Skills: Proficiency in workshop management software and basic office applications.
