2D GAME ARTIST

As a 2D Game Artist at our company, your main role will be creating character concepts, environments, backgrounds, visual effects, and decorations within our game engine. You will collaborate with our Senior artist to ensure high-quality art for our indie games. Key Responsibilities: - Create art in various styles, from realistic to cartoon, from initial concept to implementation in the game. - Conceptualize, design, and develop visually stunning (2D) in-game effects. - Produce high-quality texture content for the game world, including textures and related maps. - Decorate and optimize art within our in-house game engine. - Design character concepts, environments, backgrounds, game interfaces, and menus. - Actively participate in the game creation process by engaging with the design team. - Contribute effectively to the art pipeline while considering target platform limitations. - Meet project deadlines and milestones consistently. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in art media, graphic design, or equivalent relevant experience. - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a video game artist. - Proficient in digital/traditional and graphic art techniques. - Good command of 2D editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for delivering high-quality 2D assets. - Strong background in academic drawing, sketching, and/or illustration is advantageous. - Versatile and willing to handle various tasks, from creative challenges to mass production. - Self-motivated, with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a team player. - Positive attitude with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback. - Capable of multitasking and adapting quickly to changes.
