2D Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 2D Designer to join our design team. The 2D Designer will be responsible for developing detailed design drawings, patterns, and artwork that serve as the foundation for our 3D carving and production process. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of aesthetics, technical precision, and the ability to translate abstract concepts into workable 2D visuals.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop 2D drawings, layouts, and patterns for stone carving, interior spaces, product design and design projects.

· Convert client briefs, design ideas, and sketches into production-ready artwork.

· Work closely with 3D designers, render artists, and CNC programmers to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

· Create vector-based artworks, CAD drawings, and ornamental motifs for murals, panels, and installations.

· Maintain precision in scale, detailing, and alignment for CNC and manual carving applications.

· Collaborate with the creative team to explore new design languages, motifs, and visual directions.

· Ensure designs are aligned with the aesthetic identity and innovation standards of Odyssey Stones.

· Manage multiple design projects under strict deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Architecture, Interior design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Product design, or related field.

· Proven experience as a 2D Designer (experience in architectural/interior/ornamental design preferred).

· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and AutoCAD.

· Strong knowledge of vector art, line drawings, motifs, and technical drafting.

· Strong knowledge of making interior drawings and fixing details.

· Familiarity with stone carving, CNC design preparation, or ornamental detailing is a strong plus.

· Excellent creativity with a sharp eye for proportion, symmetry, and detailing.

· Ability to collaborate in a dynamic, design-driven environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
