You will be working as a Solar Project Manager for Nexsun Energy Private Limited, a prominent renewable energy and EPC solution provider in India. As a Solar Project Manager, you will be stationed in Thoothukudi and tasked with overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of various short-term and long-term solar projects. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting site inspections, expediting processes, and handling project logistics and procurement efficiently. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and possess 10-15 years of experience in Project Management or a related field. Additionally, proficiency in AutoCAD for design work, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, experience with pooling substations up to 230KV, knowledge of Substation Automation Systems (SAS), familiarity with 230KV switchyards, and proven expertise in managing and overseeing 50 MW solar power plants are essential skills required for this position. Moreover, you should demonstrate a strong understanding of solar technology, design, and construction processes, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills are crucial, along with proficiency in project management software and tools such as MS Project and Primavera. Familiarity with relevant regulations and permitting processes in the solar industry, exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and the capacity to work independently and efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently are also essential for this role. While prior experience in the solar energy industry is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
