A housing society manager is responsible for the daily operations, administration, and maintenance of a residential society. Key duties include overseeing facility upkeep, managing budgets and finances, supervising staff, handling resident communications and complaints, and ensuring compliance with local rules and regulations. Core responsibilities Administration and Operations: Manage day-to-day society operations, including handling correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating with staff, residents, and vendors. Financial Management: Create and manage budgets, process payments, pay bills, and handle accounting for income and expenses. Facility and Maintenance: Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of the property, including repairs, cleaning, and common areas, and manage inventory for supplies. Staff Supervision: Manage and direct on-site staff, such as housekeeping and security personnel, ensuring they carry out their duties effectively. Resident Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns, complaints, and requests. Compliance and Legal Oversight: Ensure the society adheres to all relevant bylaws, rules, and statutory requirements. Vendor Management: Coordinate with and manage external vendors for services like security, cleaning, and maintenance. Required skills and qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
