Job Opening: Project Management Consultant (PMC) Engineer Location: Vengavaisal, Chennai We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PMC Engineer to join our site team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and proven experience in managing construction projects from the client/consultant side. Key Requirements Detail Specification Designation: PMC Engineer Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering (Mandatory) Experience7 to 10 years in Civil Construction, with significant experience in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) or Client-side oversight role. Salary Range₹35,000 to ₹50,000 per month (Commensurate with experience and interview performance) Core Roles and Responsibilities The PMC Engineer acts as the owner’s representative, focusing on the successful delivery of the project by: Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Enforcing all project quality standards. Conducting thorough site inspections and verifying that materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications and drawings. Schedule Management: Closely monitoring the project schedule and progress against the baseline. Identifying critical path issues, anticipating potential delays, and suggesting necessary recovery plans. Bill Verification: Scrutinizing and certifying contractors' work measurement and bill submissions (running and final bills) to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. Technical Oversight: Reviewing and approving technical submissions, method statements, and shop drawings. Resolving day-to-day site technical queries in coordination with the design team. Coordination & Reporting: Maintaining effective communication between the client, contractors, and design consultants. Preparing detailed and timely progress reports for senior management. Safety (HSE): Ensuring the contractor implements and adheres to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols on site.
