Job Summary: A Staff Nurse provides high-quality nursing care to patients, supports physicians and healthcare teams in treatment and recovery, and ensures adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and ethical practices. The nurse plays a vital role in patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care according to prescribed medical and nursing plans. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a daily basis. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress. Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and reports. Assist doctors during medical examinations and procedures. Ensure infection control and maintain a clean, safe patient environment. Educate patients and families about care, recovery, and health maintenance. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and perform basic life support (BLS) or advanced life support (ACLS) as required. Maintain stock of medicines, medical supplies, and nursing equipment. Participate in ward rounds, handovers, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Adhere to hospital policies, professional standards, and confidentiality norms. Qualifications & Skills: Education: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing License: Registered Nurse (RN) with State Nursing Council Experience: 0–3 years (freshers or experienced nurses depending on the role) Skills: Strong clinical and observational skills Compassionate and patient-centered care Good communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of infection control and hospital protocols Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently Work Environment: Hospital wards, ICUs, operation theatres, or outpatient departments May involve shift duties (day/night) and on-call responsibilities Physically active role requiring standing, moving, and patient handling Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
