The General Manager Finance & Accounts reporting to CFO will be responsible for finalizing financial statements, managing internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), coordinating with external auditors, and leading mergers & acquisitions initiatives. The role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, drives financial efficiency through SAP S/4HANA, and provides strategic leadership to the finance team. Key Job Responsibilities: Oversee preparation and finalization of financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP. Ensure effective management of ICFR and strengthen governance frameworks. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits. Lead mergers & acquisitions activities including evaluation, due diligence, and integration. Drive financial process automation and efficiency using SAP S/4HANA. Develop and monitor budgets to support business planning and financial control. Prepare and review MIS (Management Information Systems) reports for timely and accurate decision-making support. Direct & Indirect Taxation. Success Factors for the Job: Sound experience in account finalization and statutory compliance. Strong expertise in budgeting, MIS, and audit management. Excellent communication skills to engage with senior leadership, board members, auditors, and external stakeholders. Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial data and support decision-making. Desired Profile: Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 12+ years of progressive work experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Hands-on expertise with SAP financial systems
