Role Overview We’re looking for a seasoned professional who will be the heartbeat of all things “people” at Younion. You’ll partner with leadership to drive talent strategies, nurture a culture of belonging, building capabilities and ensuring our fast-paced workplace remains high-performing, happy, and human. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead and own end-to-end recruitment for roles across creative, conversations, database, operations and support functions. Design and deliver a welcoming, structured onboarding experience Collaborate with leaders to map skills, assess gaps, and build strong teams Employee Engagement & Culture Champion a culture of openness, collaboration, and continuous feedback Curate engagement initiatives - from small surprises to big moments that matter Build listening mechanisms that help us stay in tune with employee sentiment Performance & Development Manage goal-setting, appraisals, and continuous performance discussions Enable career conversations, training plans, and capability development Introduce bite-sized learning interventions that actually stick Be a career enabler, not a box-checker Policy, Process & Compliance Develop and refine HR policies that are clear, inclusive, and event-industry relevant. Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal audit requirements Maintain strong HR operations and up-to-date employee records Manage the HRMS. HR Business Partnering Be a trusted advisor to managers and teams on people matters Handle conflict resolution and employee relations with empathy and discretion Be the go-to confidante, coach, and connector for team members and managers. Solve problems with heart and logic. What we’re looking for 9+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with time spent in a creative, media, events, or agency environment. Strong knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, and talent management frameworks. High emotional intelligence, crisp communication, and a get-it-done attitude. A sense of humour, resilience under pressure, and a love for fast-moving, deadline-driven teams.
