Supplier Quality Engineer – Yanfeng International Seating Systems Location: Supplier Park, MG, Halol | Department: Quality Assurance About the Role Join Yanfeng as a Supplier Quality Engineer and drive supplier excellence! You’ll manage supplier product quality, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with IATF16949 and other standards. Help us deliver world-class quality while improving processes and capabilities across our supply chain. What You’ll Do Approve supplier PPAPs and ensure post-SOP compliance. Conduct supplier audits, in-process & final inspections, and pre-dispatch checks. Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues quickly. Collaborate with Supplier Development Engineers to improve quality & process capability. Utilize quality tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA . Lead continuous improvement initiatives: Lean, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S. Maintain calibration of instruments and ensure proper inspection processes. Hold authority to stop production or supplier supply in case of non-conformance. Who We’re Looking For Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automobile, or Industrial Engineering. Experience: 2+ years in supplier quality; automotive supplier background preferred. Strong knowledge of IATF16949 , supplier quality methods, and automotive processes.
