You will be tasked with ensuring the proper settings, calibration, and adherence to safety protocols while operating the X-ray machines. Your key responsibilities will include conducting X-ray inspections to detect defects and irregularities, analyzing X-ray images to interpret results, and evaluating products against quality control standards. It will also be essential for you to maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols, perform routine maintenance on X-ray machines, and keep accurate records of inspections and test results. To qualify for this role, you should ideally possess a Diploma in a relevant field such as radiography or materials science. Previous experience of 0 to 2 years in industrial X-ray inspection or a related field will be beneficial. Depending on your experience level, the salary range for this position varies from 11k to 22k. The job location can be either Kurali or Mohali in Punjab. In addition to the educational and experience requirements, having certifications like Certified Radiographer (CR) or Certified Industrial Radiographer (CIR) would be advantageous. Proficiency in operating industrial X-ray machines, knowledge of radiation safety protocols, and familiarity with image analysis software are essential technical skills for this role. Furthermore, you should be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). The working conditions for this position involve exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials in an industrial setting.
