The Role As a Senior Process Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc…. Experience to encompass the areas of alumina refinery, iron ore beneficiation & pellet plant, nonferrous metals. About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field Minimum 15 years of experience in the mining, minerals, and metals industry, with a focus on beneficiation, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, alumina, and new energy minerals. Proven track record in process engineering, project execution, and optimization in mineral processing operations. Strong knowledge of process control, instrumentation, and automation systems. In-depth understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations in mineral processing operations. Experience with simulation software (e.g., SysCAD) and process design tools (e.g., AFT Fathom/Arrow, Fluid flow etc.). Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions. Willingness to travel to project sites and work in diverse environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with new energy minerals, such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, and rare earth elements. Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and green technologies in the mining industry. Professional certifications or memberships in relevant engineering societies (e.g., IChemE, SME).
