Role Overview: As a Test Engineer at Wipro Limited, your role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/ platform/ solution to be deployed at a client end ensuring it meets 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be instrumental in understanding the test requirements, designing test cases, and implementing Wipro's testing methodologies to achieve efficient test generation. Collaborating with the development team, you will identify and capture test cases, ensure version control, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, you will automate the test life cycle process, design and execute the automation framework, and report test progress to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Understand test requirements and design test cases for the product - Author test planning based on business requirements and testable requirements - Implement Wipro's testing methodologies using Model based testing - Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework - Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases - Automate the test life cycle process through vb macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc - Design and execute the automation framework and reporting - Develop and automate tests for software validation - Ensure test defects are raised as per defined norms with clear descriptions - Prepare and report test progress and file defect reports for bug issues - Design and release test status dashboard at the end of every cycle - Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risk, and report to stakeholders - Maintain good quality interaction with customers regarding testing and its execution - Deliver on-time reports and updates in the test management repository - Respond timely to customer requests and ensure no instances of complaints either internally or externally Qualification Required: - Mandatory Skill: Worksoft Certify - Experience: 1-3 Years Additional Details: Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company focused on building innovative solutions for clients" digital transformation needs.
