WordPress and WooCommerce developer

As a WordPress & WooCommerce Developer (PHP Expert) at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores. Your responsibilities will include writing clean and optimized PHP code, troubleshooting and resolving bugs, integrating APIs, and collaborating with UI/UX designers and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements. - Write clean, secure, and optimized PHP code. - Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities. - Integrate APIs to ensure seamless data flow between systems. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers and project managers to deliver quality solutions. - Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. - Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance of WordPress sites. Required Skills: - Strong experience with WordPress and WooCommerce. - Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Experience in custom theme and plugin development. - Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations. - Understanding of WooCommerce hooks, filters, and actions. - Knowledge of version control tools like Git. - Basic understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization. - Awareness of website security best practices. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg. - Knowledge of popular WooCommerce extensions. - Familiarity with cPanel, hosting environments, and server configurations. - Experience in working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred, but not mandatory with sufficient experience).
