Wlan Firmware Engineer Senior

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, your role will involve working on software architecture and design for WLAN features in firmware. You will be responsible for the development, release, and maintenance of WLAN firmware, collaborating with peer teams to define software interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and implementing embedded software/firmware for networking/wireless products - Demonstrating expertise in C programming and experience with the 802.11 protocol - Utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure performance, modularity, and portability in software design - Communicating effectively within the team and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years OR PhD with 1+ year - 2+ years of academic or work experience in Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 2 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing embedded software/firmware for networking/wireless products - Expertise in C programming and familiarity with the 802.11 protocol - Strong architectural skills for designing software with a focus on performance, modularity, and portability - Excellent team communication and interpersonal skills In addition to the above qualifications and responsibilities, Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
