Wireless R&D Coexistence Systems Engineer - Lead/Staff

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a key role in researching, designing, developing, simulating, and validating systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions to enable the development of cutting-edge technology. Collaborating across functional teams, you will work towards meeting and exceeding system-level requirements and standards to drive digital transformation and create a smarter, connected future. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize new algorithms involving Wi-Fi / BT coexistence, propose implementation details, evaluate performance benefits, and analyze and diagnose system level issues across RF/SW/HW boundaries. - Work closely with HW, SW, and test teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Define the implementation of various systems blocks and contribute to system design. - Collaborate with the Wireless Research and Development (WRD / Systems Engineering) team to drive innovation in wireless communication, signal processing, RF / front-end engineering, architecture engineering, FW/DSP development, and systems algorithms. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. - Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - Industry experience of 4+ years in relevant field(s) such as wireless communication, signal processing, RF / front-end engineering, architecture engineering, FW/DSP development with exposure to systems algorithms, Systems Engineering, Systems Test Engineering, etc. - Knowledge of WLAN / BT protocols and implementation is preferred.
