As an Application Support Engineer at VIQ Solutions in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for providing support for cloud-based applications including AWS, Microsoft's .NET Stack, and Java. With a minimum of 3 years of experience, you will work in US Shift (Night Shift) from 8 PM to 5 AM. Your role will involve researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and finding solutions to resolve customer-specific issues. You should have a strong background in a customer-facing environment and be able to drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction in highly technical environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for this position. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with application development and software development life cycle management. You must be capable of handling complex data schema, data flow, and state management. Strong critical thinking skills are required to troubleshoot web frontends effectively. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with audio and video formats, capture, encoding, and decoding. Experience with audio/video tools such as WiMedia Foundation, FFmpeg, VLC, and LeadTools would be advantageous. Soft skills such as the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, good communication skills, strong analytical skills, and a passion for learning new tools and methods are highly valued. Additionally, you should be accountable, detail-oriented, and a team player willing to mentor junior teammates.
