This role involves applying engineering practice and knowledge in technologies such as Standards and protocols, application software, embedded software for wireless and satellite networks, fixed networks, enterprise networks, connected devices (IoT, device engineering), connected applications (5G/ edge, B2X apps), Telco Cloud, Automation, and Edge Compute platforms. You will be responsible for integrating network systems and operations related to the mentioned technologies. Focus on Connectivity and Network Engineering, develop expertise, share knowledge, give guidance, interpret client needs, work independently or with minimal supervision, identify and solve problems, contribute to teamwork, and engage with customers. Responsibilities: - Design and deploy WiFi networks with access points, controllers, and supporting infrastructure. - Configure and manage LAN/WLAN environments for optimal coverage, performance, and security. - Conduct site surveys, RF planning, and signal strength analysis using industry-standard tools. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues in wired and wireless networks. - Collaborate with IT teams to integrate WiFi solutions with broader infrastructure and security policies. - Maintain documentation for network configurations, topology, and change management. - Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards for wireless communication. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of WiFi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), LAN/WLAN architecture, and network protocols. - Experience with enterprise-grade wireless solutions (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti). - Proficiency in network monitoring tools and WiFi analyzers. - Understanding of IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and firewall configurations. - Familiarity with information security practices in wireless environments. Preferred Skills: - Certifications such as CWNA, CCNA Wireless, or Aruba Certified Mobility Associate. - Experience with cloud-managed WiFi solutions and SD-WAN. - Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, Bash). - Exposure to IoT device connectivity and smart building technologies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field. - 5-10 years of experience in IT networking with a focus on wireless technologies. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. - Attention to detail and commitment to network reliability and security.,
