Roles and Responsibilities Design and develop barrage structures, including spillways, stilling basins, intake towers, and other related components. Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Prepare detailed designs for wier (water storage) systems using software such as AutoCAD or similar tools. Ensure timely completion of projects by coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Desired Candidate Profile 3-8 years of experience in civil engineering or construction engineering with a focus on barrage/wier design and execution. Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a recognized institution. Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g., Excel) for data analysis and reporting purposes. Strong understanding of hydraulics principles applied to water treatment plants' operations.
