Wexus Winworks Role Summary We are seeking a Pre-Sales Intern to support our sales and business development activities. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who wants exposure to government proposal strategy, lead qualification, client discovery, and sales operations. You will support our team as we engage prospective clients, qualify opportunities, and position Wexus Win Works's services to win new business. Key Responsibilities: Opportunity & Lead Support Research and track new business opportunities from government and private portals Assist with lead qualification and preliminary customer discovery Maintain updated records in CRM and opportunity trackers Proposal & Pre-Sales Material Support Help draft, format, and organize pre-sales documents, capability statements, and pitch decks Support responses to RFIs and RFPs under supervision Maintain a repository of templates, collateral, and sales assets Client Engagement Support: Prepare briefing notes and discovery summaries for sales team meetings Monitor prospect communication channels and coordinate follow-ups Support scheduling and documentation for discovery and qualification calls Market Research & Competitive Insight Conduct industry and competitor research to inform sales strategy Create concise research summaries and insights for internal stakeholders Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to research, synthesize, and present information clearly Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred (Advantageous): Basic understanding of RFP/RFI processes or B2B sales Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) Interest in government contracting, procurement, or IT services What You Will Gain: Real-world experience in pre-sales, proposal strategy, and business development Exposure to government contracting processes and pre-sales workflows Mentorship from experienced professionals A strong foundation for careers in sales, consulting, or technical business roles Internship certification and potential for full-time hire based on performance
