As a Senior Preferred Banking Advisor at West Sahara, your primary responsibility will be to serve as the main point of contact for clients, overseeing the entire client life cycle. To excel in this role, you should possess a high school diploma (bachelor's degree in a related field preferred) along with 4+ years of direct, relevant experience in Treasury Management Sales, Treasury Management Service, and/or Branch Banking Operations. Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and other commercial banking products and services is crucial. Additionally, you should have advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices. Previous experience in business deposits or treasury management products sales and service is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required for interactions with internal and external audiences such as sales or leadership. The salary range for new hires generally falls between $60,400.00 - $74,610.00 for Las Vegas, NV, with the specific amount determined by the job location. Job Title Vice President, Business Banking Location: West Sahara What You'll Do As a Commercial Banker II - Business Banking is responsible for identifying a target market for new business and subsequently developing and establishing a book of new business from those relationships. Key responsibilities include negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of a variety of major and complex loans in compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures; develops business checking and deposit relationships with customers. You'll also be responsible for assisting clients with deposit related products and services, as well as gathering and analyzing client information to recommend appropriate deposit product solutions. Compile and analyze market research data to develop recommendations regarding products and services focused on needs of target market. Engage in business development activities and solicitation of new business based on the target market. Collaborate closely with treasury partner to ensure seamless client experiences. Call and visit target customers to promote and sell Bank products and services to establish a new book of business. Develop and maintain customer data base including calls and results on all new business relationships. Make reports to superiors as required. Interview prospective applicants and requests specified information related to loan or credit application; correspond or re-interview applicants to resolve questions regarding application information. Perform basic pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends. Gather all information necessary to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval; meet with new/potential customers; visit sites of loans; negotiate loan terms and conditions; refer and recommend acceptance to the Chief Credit Officer or Loan Committee. Coordinate processing of approved loans; ensure loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to Bank lending policies; obtain sufficient information and/or documentation from customers; solve problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within the Relationship Manager’s portfolio. Maintain a superior knowledge of financial industry status and trends. Recommend to senior management those products and services experiencing less than satisfactory performance. Represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank’s image and develop additional business; assist the Bank in establishing and maintaining market position in the financing arena. What You'll Need 7+ years of related experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices. Advanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management. Advanced organizational and time management skills. Advanced speaking and writing communication skills. May require up to 50% travel. Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $115,915.00 - $143,185.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
