About the Modular Manufacturing Yard (MMY):

Our investment at this sprawling, approx. 150,000 sq. meter waterfront yard at the West Coast of India, was inspired by the Make in India initiative. The yard combines our strengths in process technology, modularized engineering, and manufacturing and construction.

The yard represents a culmination of our knowledge, skill and technology expertise covering a range of product lines, such as:

• Technip-designed modular hydrogen plants.
• Modular process plants and equipments using proprietary Process Technology and partnering with leading technology partners worldwide
• Fired heaters, reformers, ethylene furnaces: components and assemblies
• Proprietary special application burners

Our Modular Manufacturing Yard (MMY) at Dahej, Gujarat, is a cornerstone of our Make in India initiative and is central to our modularized engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

Welding

About the role:

• Issuing welding tickets to company workers
• Checking welding specifications for a job
• Ensuring the correct equipment and materials are being used for a weld
• Inspecting complete welds
• Assessing the quality and strength of completed welds
• Suggesting alternative welding techniques
• Demonstrating correct welding procedures
• Generating new welding techniques
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Ensuring welders adhere to state health and safety regulations

About You

• BE/ B.Tech/ Diploma 5 to 7 years Experience in related field
• CSWIP certification.
• Advanced knowledge of TIG, MIG, laser, butt, and arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Good Knowledge of Fabrication/Manufacturing processes of any of the followingPressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Heater/Reformers, Structural Steel & Piping.
