Role & responsibilities We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented International Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for our SMS wholesale business in the global telecom market. This role requires a strong understanding of the SMS wholesale industry, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships with international carriers, aggregators, and businesses. As the International Sales Manager for SMS Wholesale, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts, acquiring new clients, and expanding market presence while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for SMS wholesale services in international markets. Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, including international carriers, MVNOs, aggregators, and enterprise clients. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the telecom industry, including network operators and key decision-makers. Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure. Client Management & Relationship Building: Act as the primary point of contact for international clients and partners, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction. Monitor client usage, manage expectations, and optimize the customer experience to maintain long-term business relationships. Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling SMS-related services. Market Analysis & Reporting: Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, pipeline status, market trends, and key account developments. Monitor industry developments related to SMS, messaging technologies (A2P, P2P, RCS, etc.), and regulatory changes impacting the wholesale SMS business. Pricing & Contract Negotiations: Develop competitive pricing models for SMS services tailored to specific regions, market demands, and customer requirements. Lead contract negotiations with international clients, ensuring that all terms align with company policies and business objectives. Collaboration: Work closely with the technical, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery of SMS services to clients. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that enhance customer acquisition and retention. Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and forums to expand the company's network and represent the company in international markets. Preferred candidate profile Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in telecom sales, with a strong focus on wholesale SMS, A2P messaging, or related messaging services. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts in the telecom or wholesale messaging sector. Experience in international sales, with a good understanding of regional telecom markets, regulations, and competitive landscapes. Knowledge of SMS gateways, routing technologies, and messaging platforms (e.g., SMPP, HTTP, etc.).
