Role & responsibilities Candidates must be available to complete an editing task of 1 minute Short video to demonstrate their skill set and send it back in half a day. Wedding Video Editing: Edit Wedding and Pre-Wedding Raw footage into compelling and emotionally resonant highlight films, full-length videos, and cinematic edits. Short-Form Content Creation: Produce engaging short videos, teasers, trailers, and social media content (Reels, Shorts, etc.) that capture the essence of wedding celebrations. Color Grading & Correction: Apply industry-standard color grading and correction techniques to achieve a polished and visually appealing final product. Audio Editing & Mixing: Sync audio, enhance sound quality, and create a balanced and immersive audio experience. Motion Graphics & Visual Effects: Incorporate basic motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects to enhance video storytelling. Adherence to Brand Style: Follow the company's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style across all video projects. Client Collaboration: Work closely with the photography/videography team and clients to understand their vision and preferences. Staying Updated with Trends: Continuously research and implement the latest video editing trends, techniques, and software updates. Project Management: Manage multiple projects within deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively. Feedback Incorporation: Receive and implement feedback from the team and clients to improve video quality. Preferred candidate profile Wedding Storytelling Passion: Strong interest in capturing wedding emotions through video. Editing Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve. Creative & Detail-Oriented: Ability to craft engaging narratives with meticulous attention. Social Media Savvy: Understanding of formats for platforms like Instagram and YouTube. Portfolio/Showreel: Showcase editing skills, even from personal projects.
