Role: Web Scraping & Data Automation Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scripts to collect data from platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and more.
• Use automation tools and libraries such as Make.com (Integromat), Python (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium), and browser automation frameworks.
• Clean and organize extracted data for marketing intelligence and lead generation campaigns.
• Research best practices for bypassing anti-scraping measures and handling dynamic website content.
• Maintain proper documentation of workflows, scripts, and scraping logs.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and tech teams to identify data needs and optimize outputs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, and privacy standards in data scraping.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with at least one scraping library/tool (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, Puppeteer).
• Basic working knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Make.com or any other automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for DOM navigation.
• Passion for data-driven marketing and social media platforms.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage timelines effectively.

Desirable (Not Mandatory)

• Experience scraping or analyzing data from social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Reddit).
• Familiarity with proxy management, headless browsers, and anti-bot detection strategies.
• Knowledge of data handling libraries like Pandas or NumPy.
• Prior internship or project experience in automation or data scraping.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
