Web-based GIS Software Developer

We are seeking experienced Web-based GIS Software Developers proficient in JavaScript libraries such as React.js and Vue.js to create interactive web applications. Your main responsibility will involve developing and implementing user interface components following established React.js workflows. Ensuring the robustness and ease of maintenance of these components and the overall application is crucial. Collaboration with the team working on different infrastructure layers is essential, emphasizing collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and high-quality products. RESPONSIBILITIES - Developing new user-facing features utilizing React.js - Constructing reusable components and front-end libraries for future application - Converting designs and wireframes into high-quality code - Optimizing components for optimal performance across various web-capable devices and browsers Tasks to be performed: 1. System design, programming, integration, and testing. 2. Designing, developing, and integrating solutions for earth observation and environment monitoring. 3. Working on new development, enhancements, and maintenance of existing products. 4. Collaborating closely with clients to provide effective solutions. 5. Assisting in managing, monitoring, and supporting corporate IT infrastructure. QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory Experience: - Minimum 5+ years of OO development experience with expertise in Java. - Experience in Geographical Information Systems like MapServer, OpenLayers, Java EE, Databases (PostgreSQL), Web Server applications (Apache & Apache Tomcat), Web Services, Microservices, Spring framework, React, Angular, Version Control Systems. - Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. - Experience with C++ development, 3D WEB Development, Mobile apps development, Docker environment, cloud-enabled solutions, system design and integration in earth observation, remote sensing, image processing, and rendering, and supporting and monitoring IT corporate infrastructure. Not Mandatory, but advantageous: - Knowledge of AI usage for coding and development, cybersecurity, and developing Software for Cloud-Based Systems. - Coursework in relevant areas will enhance the evaluation score.
